Work Experience

• Started new team called the Systems Optimization team responsible for enterprise level solutions

• Provided escalation support for all levels and facets of IT infrastructure

• Developed several custom solutions to address deficiencies in the environment

• Developed and implemented File Based Interfaces (FBI) using Talend Open Studio 4.22 using JobScheduler on Ubuntu 10.04LTS VMWare guest. This solution handles 85% of internal and external file transfers for the enterprise

• Developed and implementated Polymerase suite as a validation and accountability engine. This engine contains three components. 1. CODON, which qualifies records to be checked and inserts them to a temporary db table. 2. Polymerase, which checks the record against the authoritative source (EMR, Active Directory, Patient Accounting, etc.) and writes deficiencies to a Sharepoint list for analyst intervention 3. Ligase, which provides a deeper analytics on the discrepencies found by Polymerase (checking for data structure, mis-filing, etc) and auto resolves alerts when appropriate.

• Developed 5 Computerized Human Interface Mimmicking Programs (CHIMPs) to automate the windows GUI to perform tasks such as printing fetal strips to the EMR, generating billing reports from dental system and printing aggregate day end reports for critical care.

• Participated in project to implement a standardized ITIL change control process using Microsoft System Center Service Manager

• Participated in Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2012 beta

• Participated in Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (Opalis) 2012 beta

• Provided support and custom development on over 50 projects supporting the enterprise vision and goals

• Participated in beta and provided support for Siemens Enterprise Healthcare Process Management solutions (Powered by Tibco iProcess Engine)

• Formally promoted to Desktop Services Supervisor and my team grew to 5 and name was changed to Desktop Technology team

• Provided supervisory support to Desktop Services Manager for the team of 20 desktop technicans

• Revised group policies to provide for standardized Internet Explorer experience across Sunray and Desktop environments

• Deployed 2000+ Sunray units in the Clinical arena to provide roaming desktop experience to providers in the outpatient areas as well as the inpatient areas of the hospital services

• Participated in vision planning of the Denver Health infrastructure

• Expanded Citrix application foot print in the environment to include becoming part of standard project discovery item.

• Migrated from Citrix Metaframe Server 4.0 to Citrix Xenapp

• Designed and implemented virtual environment for Xenapp depolyment, using VMWare, Xenserver and combination of physical and HPLeftHand storage

• Restructured and completely redesigned Citrix Metaframe 4.0 environment
